3D camera aims to replace guesswork in emergency drug dosing
NCT ID NCT06646133
Summary
This study tested a new 3D camera system designed to quickly and accurately estimate a patient's weight during simulated emergency scenarios. Emergency doctors used the camera and standard methods on volunteer 'patients' to see which was faster and more accurate for calculating correct drug doses. The goal was to improve the speed and precision of emergency care, especially for patients where weight is critical for medication.
