Stroke study pulled before it even started
NCT ID NCT06034847
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if giving additional treatments—like tiny devices or clot-busting drugs—for leftover small blockages after main clot removal could help stroke patients recover better. It was designed for people who already had the main blockage cleared but still had smaller blockages deeper in the brain. However, the trial was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
