Summary
This study tested a supplement called 2-HOBA in 32 adults with rheumatoid arthritis to see if it is safe and reduces inflammation. Participants took either 2-HOBA or a placebo three times daily for 4 weeks. Researchers measured side effects and changes in blood markers of inflammation to plan future larger studies.
