First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether a cream containing 2% cholesterol can help repair the skin barrier and ease symptoms in children aged 7 to 17 with mild to moderate eczema. About 30 participants will apply the cream or a placebo twice daily for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure skin moisture, water loss, and symptom severity to see if the cream is a safe and effective treatment.
