New imaging study aims to Fine-Tune radiation doses for thyroid cancer

Summary
This study tests two methods of preparing patients with advanced thyroid cancer for a special PET scan that helps plan radiation treatment. Thirty participants will receive both a hormone injection and thyroid hormone withdrawal to see which method better predicts the right radiation dose for tumors. The goal is to improve treatment effectiveness while reducing side effects.
