Major trial tests Next-Gen vaccine to block 11 Cancer-Causing HPV strains

Summary
This large study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect against 11 types of human papillomavirus (HPV) that can cause cervical cancer and other diseases. It will enroll 13,500 Chinese women aged 9 to 45 to see if the vaccine is safe, effective, and better than a placebo. Participants will receive three shots over six months and be followed for about six years to see if the vaccine prevents HPV infections and related health problems.
