Kaposi's sarcoma drug trial halted early – what we know

This phase II trial tested the drug everolimus in 11 people with classic or endemic Kaposi's sarcoma, a rare skin cancer linked to a virus. The goal was to see if the drug could shrink tumors after 6 months. The study was terminated early, so the full results are not available.
