B-cell lymphoma, unclassifiable, with features intermediate between diffuse large b-cell lymphoma and classical Hodgkin lymphoma
MONDO:0003658A group of lymphomas displaying molecular, morphologic, immunophenotypic, and clinical overlap between classical Hodgkin lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. This term particularly applies to mediastinal lymphomas with overlapping features of mediastinal (thymic) large B-cell lymphoma and classical Hodgkin lymphoma.

New cocktail aims to knock out tough lymphoma
Disease control OngoingThis early-phase trial is testing whether adding the targeted drug polatuzumab vedotin (with or without another drug called glofitamab) to standard chemotherapy is safe for people with untreated, aggressive B-cell lymphoma. About 56 participants will receive the combination to se…

New combo tackles tough lymphomas
Disease control OngoingThis early-phase trial tests the safety and best dose of combining two drugs—pembrolizumab (Keytruda) and vorinostat (Zolinza)—in people with certain lymphomas that have returned or not responded to treatment. Pembrolizumab helps the immune system attack cancer cells, while vorin…

Engineered immune cells take aim at tough lymphomas in first human test
Disease control OngoingThis early-phase trial tests a new type of immunotherapy for people with Hodgkin lymphoma or cutaneous T-cell lymphoma that has returned or not responded to standard treatments. The therapy uses the patient's own T cells, which are genetically modified to recognize and attack can…

Immunotherapy duo takes on tough lymphomas
Disease control OngoingThis phase 2 trial tests whether adding varlilumab to nivolumab helps people with aggressive B-cell lymphomas that have returned or not responded to treatment. About 54 participants will receive either nivolumab alone or nivolumab plus varlilumab. The goal is to see if the combin…

Engineered immune cells take on recurrent B-Cell cancers
Disease control OngoingThis early-stage trial tests a new cellular immunotherapy for adults with certain B-cell cancers (like lymphomas and leukemias) that have come back. Researchers take a patient's own white blood cells, modify them in the lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells, and infuse …

New combo therapy shows promise for Tough-to-Treat lymphomas
Disease control OngoingThis early-phase trial is testing whether combining two drugs—nivolumab (a monoclonal antibody) and lenalidomide (a chemotherapy-like drug)—can safely and effectively treat people with non-Hodgkin or Hodgkin lymphoma that has returned or is not responding to treatment. The study …
