Vertebral artery dissection
A human disorder which results from a tear in one of the major cervicocerebral arteries, allowing blood to enter the wall of the artery and split its layers. Pathogenesis typically leads to either stenosis or aneurysmal dilatation of the vessel.
This condition has no sub-types.
