GM2 gangliosidosis, domestic cat
A lysosomal storage disease that occurs in cats in which there is a buildup of GM2 gangliosides in tissues due to the lack of the enzyme hexosaminidase. It is characterised by progressive neuromuscular dysfunction and impaired growth from an early age.
This condition has no sub-types.
