New eyelid lift tool tested against standard surgery in side-by-side trial
NCT ID NCT07250139
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to do upper eyelid surgery: the traditional method and a newer one using a hand-held clamp called Ziplyft. About 50 adults with droopy or extra eyelid skin will have one eyelid treated with each method, so doctors can directly compare bruising, healing, and surgery time. The goal is to see if Ziplyft leads to less bruising and faster recovery.
