Zinc pills could stretch your botox results
NCT ID NCT07270042
Summary
This study is testing if taking zinc pills for a few days before a Botox injection can make the treatment last longer for people with an overactive jaw muscle. Twenty adults will receive Botox twice: once after taking zinc and once after taking a placebo pill, to compare the results. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost addition can reduce the need for frequent injections.
