Could zinc be the secret to stronger dental implants?
NCT ID NCT07187609
Summary
This study is testing if a special bone graft material containing zinc helps new dental implants heal better and become more stable. Researchers will compare the zinc-enhanced graft to a standard graft in 16 adults who need a tooth replaced. They will use 3D-printed surgical guides for precise implant placement and measure bone loss and density over time.
