Cancer drug combo trial halted early after enrolling only 13 patients
NCT ID NCT05588609
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested a drug called zenocutuzumab combined with other medicines in people with two types of cancer: non-small cell lung cancer with an NRG1 gene fusion, and metastatic prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone therapy. The trial was stopped early after enrolling only 13 participants, so results are limited. The goal was to see if the combinations could shrink tumors or lower PSA levels.
