New drug duo takes on Hard-to-Treat HER2 cancers
NCT ID NCT05027139
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether combining two drugs, zanidatamab and evorpacept, is safe and can shrink tumors in people with advanced HER2-expressing cancers (cancers that have too much of a protein called HER2). The trial included 52 adults whose cancer had spread or could not be removed by surgery. Researchers measured side effects and how many patients had their tumors shrink or disappear. This is not a cure, but aims to control the disease.
