New heel surgery aims to end painful bump struggle

Summary
This study is testing a specific bone surgery called a Zadek osteotomy for people with a painful heel condition known as Haglund's syndrome. It will follow 30 adults whose heel pain hasn't improved with six months of other treatments. The main goal is to see how well this surgery reduces pain, improves walking and sports ability, and changes the shape of the heel bone in the short term.
