New jaw plate aims to heal fractures better
NCT ID NCT07184762
Summary
This study is testing if a new Z-shaped bone plate works better than the standard two miniplates for fixing broken jaws. It involves 16 patients with jaw fractures, who are randomly assigned to get either the new plate or the standard ones. Doctors will check how well the bone heals, how much pain patients feel, and how stable the repair is over several months.
