Summary
This study tested a program designed to prevent harmful substance use in young adults. Researchers developed an online and text-message intervention to teach practical safety strategies for drinking and marijuana use. They studied 162 young adults in Texas to see if the program was feasible and could help reduce how much they drink or use marijuana and the negative consequences that can follow.
