First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at how the body processes yohimbine differently in men and women based on their CYP2D6 gene type. 36 healthy adults aged 18-40 took a single low dose of yohimbine and caffeine. Researchers measured drug levels in the blood to understand genetic and sex-based differences. The study did not treat any disease and was purely for knowledge.
