Yoga may shield police DNA from stress damage
NCT ID NCT07174804
Summary
This study tested whether practicing yoga for three months could reduce stress-related damage to DNA in police security guards. Researchers compared 203 guards who either did yoga or followed their normal routine, measuring markers of DNA damage and stress in their blood. The goal was to see if yoga could help protect cells from the wear and tear caused by high-stress jobs.
