Summary

This study tested whether yoga-based breathing exercises can help people recovering from colorectal cancer surgery feel less pain, fatigue, and insomnia, and improve their confidence in managing their health. Sixty adults who had their first colorectal cancer surgery were split into two groups: one did breathing exercises, the other received standard care. The results showed that adding simple breathing exercises may improve recovery after surgery.
