First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether yoga can reduce certain DNA changes (chromosomal translocations) in police security guards who have high-stress jobs protecting VIPs. 203 guards were split into two groups: one did yoga for 3 months, and the other continued their normal routine. Researchers compared blood samples and stress levels before and after to see if yoga made a difference.
