Summary
This was the first study in people to check if a new drug called Y-3 is safe and to see how the body processes it. Twenty healthy adult volunteers in the US took either a single dose of the drug or a placebo (a dummy pill). Researchers closely monitored the participants for side effects and measured drug levels in their blood over time.
