Sweet solution for baby teeth? wipe study tests cavity prevention
NCT ID NCT07245433
Summary
This small study tested whether cleaning babies' teeth and gums with xylitol wipes could help prevent early childhood cavities. Twenty healthy children aged 9 to 18 months had their teeth wiped three times daily for four weeks. Researchers measured bacteria levels in saliva to see if the wipes reduced the germs that cause tooth decay.
