Scientists test new leukemia Pill's heart safety on healthy people
NCT ID NCT07162116
Summary
This is an early safety study to see if a potential new drug for a type of leukemia (AML with FLT3 mutation) affects the heart's electrical rhythm. It will involve 45 to 75 healthy Chinese volunteers who will take a single dose of the drug, a placebo, or a comparison drug. Researchers will closely monitor participants' hearts and take blood samples over 3 days to check for any safety issues and see how the body handles the drug.
