Could a new injection from human fluid regrow hair?
NCT ID NCT07482423
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether an experimental injection called XVIE is safe and might help regrow hair in adults with common pattern hair loss. XVIE is made from processed human amniotic fluid and contains natural factors that may stimulate hair follicles. Thirty participants will receive either the XVIE injection or a saltwater placebo into their scalp twice over 90 days, and researchers will monitor them for 6 months to check for side effects and any signs of hair growth.
