Summary

This study looked at 91 patients who had a broken wrist or upper arm bone and were treated with the XtraFix® Small External Fixation System, a metal frame placed outside the body to hold bones in place. The main goal was to see if the bones healed properly. Researchers also tracked any problems or side effects for at least a year after surgery. The study was completed and sponsored by Zimmer Biomet.
