Gut health combo may slow kidney disease
NCT ID NCT07182942
Summary
This study is testing if a drug called Xiqing works better when combined with probiotics to help people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers want to see if improving gut health can help the body remove waste toxins, which may slow the disease's progression and delay the need for dialysis. The trial will enroll 120 adults with moderate to severe kidney disease who are not yet on dialysis.
