New combo aims to keep advanced breast cancer in check longer

Summary

This study compares a combination of two chemotherapy drugs (capecitabine and cyclophosphamide) against the doctor's choice of treatment as maintenance therapy for people with advanced breast cancer whose disease is currently under control. The goal is to see if the drug combo can delay cancer progression longer. About 86 women aged 18 and older with certain types of advanced breast cancer are being recruited.
