First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a weekly application of Xcell Amnio Matrix, a special wound patch, can help close diabetic foot ulcers faster when added to standard wound care. About 135 adults with diabetes and a foot ulcer that hasn't healed in 4 weeks to 1 year will take part. The main goal is to see if more ulcers fully close within 12 weeks compared to standard care alone.
