First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is for people with early-stage rectal cancer who would normally need surgery. It compares standard radiation doses to higher doses, both given with chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the higher dose helps more people achieve a complete response, allowing them to avoid surgery and keep their rectum. About 162 participants will be followed for two years to measure success.
