Summary

This study is testing an oral medication called WS016 to see if it can safely and effectively lower and control high potassium levels in adults. The trial has two main parts: a short 2-day phase to quickly reduce potassium, followed by a 28-day phase to maintain normal levels. Participants who complete these phases may be eligible for an 11-month extension study to assess long-term use.
