Summary

This study tested if a simple writing exercise could help college students feeling down. Four students with mild depressive symptoms were asked to write about impactful life experiences for 20-25 minutes, once a week for eight weeks. Researchers then looked at changes in their self-perception and emotional state to see if the writing helped.
