Summary
This study is testing if simply putting a cast on a broken wrist works as well as the standard method of realigning the bone first. It involves 532 people aged 65 and older who broke their wrist in a simple fall. The main goal is to see if both methods lead to similar levels of pain and wrist function one year later.
