Skip the cast? study tests faster recovery for broken wrists
NCT ID NCT05150925
Summary
This study is comparing two common recovery methods after surgery for a broken wrist. It will see if starting gentle movement right away helps people get back to work faster and with better wrist function than wearing a cast for two weeks first. About 240 adults who have had this surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two recovery plans and followed for a year.
