First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at two methods to control pain when setting a broken wrist without surgery. One method uses a numbing injection at the fracture site, and the other adds a nerve block to numb the fingers. The goal was to see if the combined approach provides better pain relief. The study involved 180 adults with recent wrist fractures at two hospitals in Madrid.
