New nerve block tested to ease pain of broken wrist realignment

NCT ID NCT07183904

Summary

This study tested two ways to manage pain when doctors realign a broken wrist without surgery. Researchers compared the standard pain injection at the fracture site against that same injection plus an additional nerve block at the wrist. They wanted to see if the combined approach provided better pain relief for adult patients during the procedure.
