Could your broken wrist heal faster? study tests cutting cast time in half
NCT ID NCT07234370
Summary
This study is testing whether adults with a broken wrist near the thumb side can safely wear a cast for 4 weeks instead of the standard 6 weeks. Researchers want to see if the shorter time leads to similar healing and arm function. They will measure recovery using patient questionnaires and wrist movement tests over 6 months.
