Can a 5-Hour class help prevent teen pregnancy in rural areas?

NCT ID NCT06574321

Summary

This study is testing whether a short sexual health education program called 'Wrap It Up' helps prevent teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases in rural California. About 1,120 high school juniors and seniors will either receive the program or continue with their usual health education. Researchers will measure if the program helps students make safer choices about sex and birth control over the following year.
