New dressing aims to speed healing for tough skin cancer wounds
NCT ID NCT06634030
Summary
This study is testing whether a special wound dressing containing a healing protein (rhPDGF-BB) can help large wounds on the head or neck heal faster after skin cancer surgery. The trial will involve 40 participants whose wounds are too big to stitch closed. Researchers will compare the new dressing to a standard one to see if it reduces healing time and improves scarring.
