NCT ID NCT06634030
First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gel containing a human growth factor can help wounds heal faster after skin cancer removal on the head or neck. About 40 adults who have had surgery leaving a wound that cannot be stitched closed will receive either the gel or a placebo. The goal is to see if the gel speeds up the growth of new tissue so a skin graft can be placed sooner.
