Steroid swish could soothe Post-Surgery jaw pain
NCT ID NCT07436546
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special steroid solution to the standard numbing injection could reduce common problems after wisdom tooth surgery. In 25 patients, each had one side of their mouth treated with the standard injection and the other side with the steroid-added injection to compare results. Researchers measured pain, facial swelling, and jaw stiffness for a week after surgery to see which method worked better.
