Blood gel tested to speed wisdom tooth healing
NCT ID NCT06244797
Summary
This study tested whether a gel made from a patient's own blood components, called Y-TZF, could help people recover better after having their wisdom teeth removed. Researchers placed the gel in the empty tooth socket to see if it reduced common problems like pain, swelling, and difficulty opening the mouth. They compared recovery in 75 healthy adults who received the gel to those who did not.
