First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests if a steroid (methylprednisolone) given before surgery and a gel (hyaluronic acid) placed in the tooth socket after extraction can reduce pain, swelling, and jaw stiffness after wisdom tooth removal. About 40 healthy adults aged 18-40 will be randomly assigned to receive one or both treatments, or standard care. The goal is to find the best way to make recovery more comfortable.
