First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding an extra numbing injection (distolingual infiltration) to the standard numbing method reduces pain during wisdom tooth removal. About 120 healthy adults aged 18-45 will be split into two groups: one gets the standard numbing, the other gets the standard plus the extra injection. Pain during the procedure will be measured using a 0-10 scale.
