New combo treatment aims to ease agony of wisdom tooth surgery
NCT ID NCT07317596
Summary
This study is testing whether a steroid injection, a gel placed in the tooth socket, or both together can better reduce common problems after wisdom tooth surgery compared to standard care. Researchers will measure pain, facial swelling, and jaw stiffness in 40 healthy adults having a single impacted wisdom tooth removed. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the treatments or standard saline rinse to see which works best.
