Wisdom tooth pain: which numbing drug works best?

NCT ID NCT07108465

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common numbing drugs, bupivacaine or ropivacaine, works better for pain control during wisdom tooth removal surgery under general anesthesia. Researchers will compare the drugs in 15 healthy adults having both lower wisdom teeth removed. They will measure which drug provides better pain relief after surgery, helps control bleeding during surgery, and causes fewer changes in heart rate and blood pressure.
