Acne cream put to the test for understudied skin types
NCT ID NCT06415305
Summary
This study tested how well and how safely the prescription acne cream Winlevi works for people with darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick types IV-VI). It involved 10 participants with moderate to severe facial acne who used the cream for 16 weeks. The main goal was to see how many people achieved clear or almost clear skin and to track side effects like redness and dryness.
