Can a simple worksheet help firefighters avoid dehydration?

NCT ID NCT06954909

Summary

This study aims to see if teaching firefighters about hydration and having them use a self-assessment worksheet helps them drink more fluids and improve their hydration status compared to no intervention. It involves about 38 wildland firefighters or similar active workers who are found to be underhydrated. Researchers will measure urine concentration and fluid intake over six days to see if the educational tools make a difference.
