Video game therapy: wii fit may boost balance and mobility in children with cerebral palsy

Summary

This study looks at whether playing Wii Fit virtual reality games can improve balance, walking, running, and agility in children aged 7 to 14 with mild to moderate cerebral palsy. About 56 kids will either do Wii Fit exercises or standard physical therapy for 6 weeks. The goal is to see if the fun, game-based approach works as well or better than traditional therapy.
